With 2006 behind us,
and we now face 2007, we have a whole new year to
start fresh, not only in our personal lives, but
with our hobbies such as flight simulator.
Nye International Airlines is no different.
After feedback from pilots over
the past year, with recommendations and advice, 2007
will see some new changes , hopefully for the better.
Many of these changes will occur March 11th,
as the Daylight Savings Time begins, and others will
be gradually chnaged.
Below you will see
the exciting changes forecoming to Nye International:
- Increased service from
Ontario, California - Will
be offering flights to Las Vegas, Denver and San
Francisco.
- Replace
the 747 with a better aircraft - It
has been requested for the A340, and you will see
that March 11th.
- Replace
the rank syetm with more rank levels - Will
begin March 11th.
- Offer
turbo prop service - Will
begin March 11th. Chief Pilot Alex Knight is working
on an undisclosed turboprop. He says to watch the
screenshot forum at http://www.FS2004.com
for views.
- The
page with each pilot's individual pilot reports
allow full year's report -
Will be work in progress.
- Service
to Mexico, Latin and Central America -
Suggestions?
- FS9
texture bog down FSX - Will
take some time to convert textures, but will announce
after conversion is done and tested on FSX.
- Monthly
reports - The new CEO Monthly
report will be accessed from the index page, and
archived for 2007.
- Schedule
pages to have return from the cities as well -
Seems the new look with just the destination from
the city didn't fair too well. Will work on a better
layout and will post a link for a review page.
As you can see, there
are some changes coming, and if you have any suggestions
or ideas, don't hesitate to forward them to
me via e-mail.
I will end this
report with wishing everyone a Happy New Year, wishing
each and everyone a safe and better year than
2006. As we all know, this is just a hobby, and we
do have personal lives outside flight simulation.
The only thing I ask is fly at least once every
ninety days to stay active, and happy flying.
Jason Nye - CEO Nye International
